Winter can make everything a little bit more difficult (thinking snowy roads and dry skin) but those challenges are what make the inevitable beautiful blossoming buds of spring so special! In this newsletter we address some of the questions we hear regarding to the over program, the importance of setting up Start Dates and Schedules, and some stats on students and training progress!

We were shocked and saddened to see evidence of bold untruths being shared freely among people within various sectors of the industry. We are incredibly proud of the work our team has accomplished to create an academically rigorous and effective program so we have taken the appropriate steps to hold these people and organizations accountable for their actions. Our program continues to be active in: Virginia, Arizona, Alaska, West Virginia, Washington DC, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Florida (current students), Ohio, New Jersey and Utah. During the first call of the Onboarding Series, we will put a tentative Hands-on Start Date in the books so potential students have an idea of when they will start training at your location and then solidify it on Call #3: Hands-on Start Dates & Schedule Formats.
The start date needs to be far enough ahead to allow for the marketing to work, for leads to become students, and for students to progress through a certain point in their online education before starting the hands-on training. The scheduling format can vary. Students, spas and instructors will commit to at least two 3.5 hour sessions per week. Some locations do more, if they have the space and instructors and students are able to commit more time. Often these sessions are held from 6 pm to 930 pm on Mondays/Wednesdays but again, the times of day and days of week are determined by the needs of each location.
As you know, the program is tailored to satisfy the requirements of each state so scheduling the hands-on portion of the training depends on a few factors; whether your state allows any online instruction (including webinars), how many total hours of hands-on training is required, ect. All of these details will be explained for your location during the onboarding call series where you can ask questions and we can work together to make a schedule that works for you.
